Is the service in English or Spanish?

The service is in English, with live Spanish translation available every Sunday. The children's catechism is given in both languages. El servicio es en inglés, con traducción al español disponible.

Do I have to be Reformed to attend?

No. Many of the people here arrived knowing nothing about Reformed theology. Come, listen, ask questions. We would rather you understand what we teach and disagree than agree without understanding.

What denomination are you?

We are an independent Reformed congregation, and a church plant. Our members come out of Presbyterian, Anglican, and Baptist backgrounds and from half a dozen countries, held together by the Reformed faith set out on our What We Teach page rather than by a denominational office. We are not presently under any outside oversight, though we are working to organize a presbytery in Panamá in association with the Presbyterian Church of Brazil. Our Leadership page sets out exactly where that stands.

I'm Roman Catholic. Am I welcome?

Yes, genuinely. Panamá's Catholic heritage runs deep and we do not treat visitors as projects. We will not hide our differences — this site says plainly what we teach — but you will be received with respect, not suspicion.

I'm here for three weeks on vacation. Should I bother coming?

Please do. A good number of our visitors are here short-term, and several of our members started that way.

Do you have a nursery or children's church?

No — and that is deliberate. Worship here is family-integrated: children stay with their parents in the service. Every week includes a bilingual catechism moment written for ages 5–10, plus a question for parents to work through at home.

How do I become a member?

See Membership. In short: meet with the elders, hear what membership involves, and take vows publicly before the congregation.

Can I meet with the pastor?

Do you baptize infants?

Yes. We hold the historic Reformed position that the covenant sign belongs to believers and to their children. The reasoning is set out on the What We Teach page.

Is there parking?

Yes — ample parking at the back of the building.

Whose building is this? I saw another church's name.

We share the facility with Templo Gosun, a congregation who meet on Mondays and Thursdays. We also work alongside them serving the poor of this community. Sundays and Tuesdays are ours.

Are you the same church as The Epicenter?

Yes. We launched in 2023 as The Epicenter and relaunched Sunday worship as Providence Church at Easter 2026. Same people, same convictions, clearer name.
