The Word, preached

We work through books of the Bible verse by verse. No topical shortcuts, no life-hacks with a verse attached — just the text, opened and applied.

A church, not a crowd

A congregation you can actually know: children in the service, real membership, a table we come to together, elders who know your name.

English, with translation

Preaching and worship are in English, with live Spanish translation available every Sunday. Panamanians and expatriates in one congregation, not two.

Welcome · Bienvenidos

You are welcome here.

Providence Church Coronado is a Reformed congregation gathering on the Pacific coast of Panamá. We are Panamanian and expatriate, young and old, lifelong believers and first-time visitors.

We exist because we are convinced of something simple and enormous: that God is holy, that we are not, and that Jesus Christ has done everything necessary to reconcile the two. Every Sunday is an attempt to say that clearly, from Scripture, and to live like it is true the other six days.

What we are after is a biblical culture — here, in this town, and in this country — built on orthodoxy (right belief), orthopraxy (right practice), and orthopathy (rightly ordered affections). Scripture holds those three together. So do we.

If you are new to Panamá, new to the Reformed faith, or new to church entirely — come. Sit in the back if you like. Nobody will single you out.

— Pastor Marc Omar and Pastor John Sawkins
